Obituary

BETTY FAISON SPENCER:  EASTANOLLEE, GA.
 
 
Mrs. Betty Ruth Faison Spencer, age 78 of Kay Road in Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
 
A daughter of the late William F. and Claudia Sanders Faison, she was born June 19, 1938 in Arlington, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia.  Mrs. Spencer was retired from Sangamo Electric Company in West Union, South Carolina and was a member of Martin Baptist Church. 
 
She is survived by her husband, John Spencer of the home, step-son, Robert Spencer of Panama City Beach, Florida, and two sisters, Nell Marcum of Lake Wales, Florida and Dorothy Faison of Walhalla, South Carolina. 
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. from The Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Roddy Turner officiating.
 
The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers and will please assemble at the funeral home by 2:30 P.M. Sunday, Charles Jordan, Virgil Earl, and James Pless. 
 
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 7 until 9 P.M. on Saturday evening at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home.

Condolences to your family on the loss of a loved one, death is not always something we are prepared for and it can be a complexity of emotion and stress when it happens. May there be comfort found in these words from the bible.
Revelation 21:4 (And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.) It’s refreshing to know that Jehovah will put an end to suffering once we understand that death is not the end and we have a hope for the resurrection to an everlasting life.
