In April of 1941, Thomas T. Acree and Frank Y. Davis founded Acree-Davis Funeral Home. In 1944, Mr. Acree retired due to ill health and his interests were purchased by Mr. Davis and his wife, Laura Stovall Davis. Three generations of the Davis Family have owned and operated the business for almost seventy years. The Davis’ daughter and son-in-law, Fran Davis Jarrett and Gary Jones Jarrett, have been joined by son, Henry Stovall Jarrett, and son-in-law, Douglas Scott, as they continue the solid principles of dignity, compassion and professionalism set by those many years ago. An excellent facility and caring staff are offered to all we are privileged to serve. The loyalties of the families we have served give us great joy and pride and have provided us with deep and lasting friendships. Our family pledges to carry only the highest standard forward into the next generations to come.
